Content & Partnerships Team
Looking for a team where you can collaborate, build ideas and let your creativity flow? We’re the team for you. Our team helps our clients bring award winning ideas to life. We lead brainstorms, foster creativity within the agency and across teams and develop and implement custom activations for our clients. The long and short of it? If it’s custom, we do it. This could mean a custom media led program, and experiential build, a entertainment integration into a film or series, custom gaming activations or influencer campaigns.Role context:
- We are looking for a Content Manager to help build big stunty ideas and activations for our entertainment client. They will be responsible for helping to translate entertainment briefs from clients into custom programs and will be responsible for selling those ideas in and helping to execute them flawlessly.
- The Content Manager will have to wear many hats and be able to seamlessly flow between different types of programs, with knowledge and expertise across each. Whether it be gaming campaign, sports, influencer, experiential or integrations into films.
- The Content Manager is responsible for the day-to-day needs relating to custom partnerships, leading conversations with partners and clients throughout the execution process.
- You will work closely with the Group Director of Content & Partnerships but also be tasked with collaborating and working closely with investment and planning teams across the accounts. You will also need to tap into and create strong relationships within the content team and the experts across verticals to drive campaign success.
Responsibilities
- Organize and host brainstorms with internal teams and clients across every brief.
- Partner with investment team to develop, send and evaluate RFPs to partners – your role will especially be important in seeding the right ideas from our brainstorms to the right partners.
- Develop tactical custom program recommendations that meet the needs of the brief or go beyond.
- Meet with vendors and partners to understand the players in media, what they can do and when we should tap them for campaigns.
- Negotiate partnership deals that deliver the most value to clients.
- Serve as project manager for custom programs and content partnerships, ensuring all parties are accountable for meeting deadlines and delivering within approved plan parameters.
- Collaborate with Wavemaker colleagues across departments (e.g. planning, investment, data sciences) to ensure content partnerships are an interconnected part of the media plan.
- Supervise the content creation process, including providing clear input on key deliverables such as storyboards and content rough cuts, as well as attending production when applicable to ensure content produced delivers on strategy.
- Write client presentations, briefs, pitches, and POVs.
- Cultivate client relationships, demonstrating a keen understanding of their business and how content fits within it.
- Develop junior team members foundational understanding of content and client services.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of the role of content and custom programs and their ability to drive client success.
- Strong understanding on entertainment landscape or entertainment industry.
- Cross discipline knowledge and experience when it comes to custom programs: Gaming, Experiential, Content, Sports, Entertainment integrations.
- Working knowledge of content development process, production and distribution.
- Proactive, a team player, demonstrate leadership and have genuine curiosity about digital and marketing
- Proven experience in building strong client relationships
- Flair for presenting creative ideas

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $60,000 to $140,000.
