Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, Quantitative Science, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience working in data analytics, consulting, data science, engineering, or a technical operations role.
- 3 years of experience in statistical problem solving and analyzing data sets using SQL or comparable coding language (e.g., Python, R, Java, C++).
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, etc.).
- 3 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, or similar.
- 2 years of experience with designing experiments, developing statistical models, measurement, and identifying business opportunities.
- Experience in data analysis, with the ability to solve problems in complex, fast-moving, and ambiguous business environments through strong data intuition and business acumen.
- Knowledge of Google tools (e.g., Plex, BQ, etc.).
- Ability to effectively communicate analysis and recommendations across a wide range of non-technical audiences.

The YouTube Business Product Activation team is responsible for bringing product to market and market to product. In this role, you will work closely with both business and product leaders to scale adoption of YouTube products across the partner and creator ecosystem. You will identify and prioritize product activation opportunities across the business, ensuring launch readiness, defining and driving execution on product activation across segments, understanding needs of partners and creators to provide Product teams with market feedback and prioritization to shape product roadmaps, content strategy development, and performance measurement.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $111,000-$163,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Conduct complex strategic analyses to support critical questions facing the Product Activation team using advanced SQL queries and spreadsheet analysis.
- Lead development and deployment of centralized insights dashboards for Product Activation related data. Present recommendations at multiple levels including executive leadership with strong storytelling and visual displays.
- Act as a thought leader in defining product activation Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for the YouTube Business Organization.
- Conduct requirements gathering and project scoping sessions with subject matter experts, business users, and executive stakeholders to discover and define business analysis and reporting needs.
- Conduct opportunity sizing to prioritize products for YouTube Business Organization activations, working with Product Activation Leads, Finance, Marketing, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
