POSITION SUMMARY

The Social Media Community Manager is responsible for supporting the effective execution of social media services and deliverables on assigned customer accounts. This includes key activities such as content calendar development, collaborating on creative production ideation, community management, and moderation, and program results reporting.

Must have worked with clients in the technology industry. THIS IS A 6 MONTH ROLE - 24 Hours per week

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 2+ years in digital, social media, public relations and/or advertising across B2B and B2c companies
  • Bachelors and/or post-graduate degree in Communications, Advertising, Media Studies or a related field (a combination of education and experience can be substituted)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to take on different tones and styles through social media and digital-optimized copywriting, to reflect the brands and communities being represented online
  • Superior attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to deliver high quality, creative work, learn quickly, and effectively multi-task and manage deadlines
  • A strong understanding of popular social media channels such as (but not limited to) Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and YouTube, and how to effectively measure content performance on these channels
  • Stays up to date with and is knowledgeable on current and emerging social and content marketing trends graphics via platforms such as Canva, Photoshop
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 tools such as (but not limited to) Word, Excel and PowerPoint, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams
  • Experience using social media management and measurement tools such as (but not limited to) Sprout Social, Brandwatch, Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Sysomos, social media native platform business/ad managers, etc.)
  • Familiarity with the digital media landscape outside of social media, may include paid search, SEO or e-commerce experience will be considered an asset (but not a necessity)

  • * Support BRAND NAME in building the brand presence on all social media platforms through organic/paid content posting & community management engagement including but not limited to: Facebook/Instagram/Twitter/YouTube
  • *Support BRAND NAME in planning & developing the organic content calendar by social platform on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • *Creation of always-on copy development across product/occasion or campaign visual assets
  • *Daily response management to all consumer commentary across all active social platforms in a timely manner
  • *Lead always-on social listening to find relevant daily topics for the brand to have a POV
  • *Lead briefing, production management, approval process of any social assets/posts which support daily & opportunistic moments including liaison between lead creative agency and creative production team
  • *Lead updating of community management response documents in line with new campaign or product launches including briefings to CR/consumer complaints team
  • *Management of influencers and approval of influencer content across all campaigns in partnership with partner agencies
  • *Manage all live social media posting & approvals where relevant from brand owned or sponsored events
  • *Monthly and quarterly social media reporting providing insights and implications about content performance, consumer audience/behaviors on social, competitor insights & best in class industry examples which further help drive brand digital strategy and increase engagement

The salary range for this position is $65k minimum - $80k maximum per annum pro rata. Compensation varies depending on location, job-related factors such as experience, responsibilities, and business needs.
