Social Media Specialist
Job Summary
Bloomin’ Brands is one of the world’s largest casual dining companies with approximately 87,000 Team Members and more than 1400 restaurants across the globe. We are looking for a Social Media Specialist, a critical role on the marketing team that will focus on bolstering cultural brand activations to strengthen brand positioning and set us apart from competitors in the category. The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for driving the growth, development, execution, and measurement for all social media touch points. This position will oversee all social media content, programs, campaigns, influencer operations, and both the owned social/influencer budgets, and the overall content strategy roadmap. This is a hybrid role requiring at minimum 3 days in our Tampa based offices.
Essential Duties
- Ideate, design, and execute organic social media across all channels - Instagram, Facebook, X and TikTok.
- Be the voice of the brand, including response to and roll up of guest comments by campaign.
- Develop digital-first content, including imagery, graphics, and copy, in collaboration with the Brand & Creative teams, to ensure cohesive messaging across all communication platforms.
- Track social media performance to identify high-performing campaigns and recommend optimizations for future campaigns.
- Measure campaign success: Use KPIs to track the performance of social media campaigns and strategies.
- Provide insights: Analyze data and trends to inform future social media activities and optimize current efforts.
- Own, implement and measure influencer outreach to support campaign activity.
- Optimize digital tactics to determine which initiatives work best and capitalizes on this information to continue to effectively reach intended audiences
- Partner with Local Marketing team to support local listings and requests.
- Maintain social merchandise program.
- Support earned and paid media efforts in partnership with agency partners.
- Support Brand Manager in trafficking paid media assets.
Requirements
Experience:
- BA/BS in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, or a related field, MBA a plus
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant social marketing experience: Proven proficiency with platforms including Instagram, Facebook, X, Pinterest, LinkedIn, TikTok, and email marketing.
Skills:
- Proficient in relevant social channels, including Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok and Pinterest
- Experience with Social Media Management tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Collaborative and able to work with a cross-functional team.
- Organized and able to handle multiple projects and timelines to successful completion.
- Must be analytical and able to gather insights and develop recommendations.
- Proficiency in market analysis, competitive front, restaurant operations, opportunities and challenges are desired.
- Strong organizational and people skills, the ability to effectively create and deliver presentations, the ability to set appropriate priorities and use time effectively.
- A balanced individual capable of forging productive working relationships with a broad range of personality types and styles.
