Head of Social Media/Influencer Marketing Sr Manager
The Head of Social Media + Influencer Marketing, Senior Manager is a critical force behind the development of the Madison Reed Brand. Reporting to the Director of Public Relations, the Head of Social Media + Influencer Marketing, Senior Manager will play an integral role in driving strategy for Madison Reed’s owned and operated social channels and managing daily posting, creating content and managing influencer partnerships that support the brand’s omni-channel business priorities.
The base salary range for this position is between 125,000-130,000, and includes travel to our Color Bars, and other events and meetings as needed. At Madison Reed, we aim to pay competitively; factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geographic location, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
What You Will Do:
Organic Social –
- Develop a strategy and content calendar for Madison Reed’s organic TikTok, Instagram and LinkedIn channels, while managing day-to-day posting, monitoring, reporting and community engagement.
- Support Madison Reed’s TikTok shop through influencer partnerships and content creation.
- Develop best-in-class content mix including content that is created independently, brand-produced content, UGC and influencer-created content.
- Work with Madison Reed’s Creative Team to brief assets for Madison Reed’s organic social channels.
- Foster a positive community through community engagement on Madison Reed channels, while building relationships with other creators and inserting Madison Reed into culturally relevant conversations.
- Responsible for ongoing reporting and benchmarking.
- Responsible for managing contracted content creators to drive socially-native content on owned and operated social channels.
- Responsible for managing Pixly integration and driving social content to appropriate wholesale channels.
- Work cross-functionally to support key company moments, initiatives and promotions.
Influencer Marketing –
- Oversee all aspects of influencer partnerships and campaigns to support Madison Reed’s DTC business, Hair Color Bar and wholesale channels, including but not limited to recommending talent, managing talent, developing content and messaging briefs, reviewing content with cross-functional partners, and contracting and reporting.
- Assist in the development and management of all influencer campaigns including but not limited: strategy, talent curation, influencer relations and reporting.
- Partner with the Acquisition team to enable paid sponsorship collaborations via ad access.
- Research and identify innovative potential micro and UGC partnership opportunities to help drive brand awareness and achieve new customer acquisition and maintain influencer database.
- Coordinate with micro influencer and UGC partners for campaign execution inclusive of product coordination, campaign execution, creative asset management and reporting.
- Measure impact & report on all influencer campaigns via Sprinklr.
- Support overall product seeding strategy from inception to compilation.
- Create an unparalleled influencer experience to keep them engaged with the brand.
- Build strong working relationships with agents and agencies, influencer networks and vendors.
- Manage VIP Hair Color Bar appointments.
- Engage daily with influencers via owned platforms.
What you will need:
- 5-7 years of experience in Social Media, Content Creation or Influencer Marketing and a Bachelor's Degree.
- Must have experience working hands on in social media platforms, editing, posting and engaging in community management.
- Passion for content creation, storytelling, innovative ideas and strategy.
- Tech, Consumer Goods or Beauty experience.
- Thrives in a highly entrepreneurial fast paced environment with an all-hands-on-deck attitude.
- A natural relationship builder working with a network of peers, partners, and industry contacts.
- Experience in digital analytics and social listening tools, measuring campaign ROI and metrics to support overall influencer strategy.
- Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
- Must demonstrate flawless attention to detail, be a team player, multi-tasker, and creative thinker.
