What You Will Do
The Global Marvel Brand Commercialization team is seeking a well-organized and highly motivated individual to support the Marvel Global Brand team with day-to-day operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Support and facilitate high-level brand, franchise, and program planning
- Create and develop presentations
- Coordinate with PR team on samples, press releases, and Influencer activations
- Summarize weekly reports relevant to the Brand team
- Cross-functional meeting planning and coordination
- Support Marvel Consumer Products social media account
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Proficiency in social media, specifically Instagram and Tik Tok
- Experience in copywriting
- Skilled in presentation creation (Keynote, PowerPoint)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail and organization
- Strong sense of urgency, confidentiality, and accountability
- Proficient in quickly and efficiently following up on projects and communications
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in and passion for brand and Consumer Products
- Familiarity with the Marvel brand
- Design skills: Graphic Design, Photoshop (Adobe Creative), Video Editing
- Experience in Photography and Video Creation
- Interest in giving presentations
Education
- Be enrolled in a college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR have graduated from a college/university within the past six (6) months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
- Senior or recent graduate within 6 months of graduation date, majoring in Business, Marketing, or related fields
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess unrestricted work authorization
- Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program
Additional Information
- The approximate dates of this in-person internship are January 2025 through June 2025
- Ability to work full time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) Monday - Friday, for the duration of the internship with possible evenings and weekends if necessary
- This internship is a hybrid position and requires a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace
- This internship is located in Glendale, CA; candidates should be receptive to providing their own transportation and housing for the duration of the internship
