Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director, Social Content & Engagement Strategy to join our 80+ person social practice within our fast-growing Consumer & Content Experience discipline who will create and execute social media marketing campaigns for a global financial technology company.

This individual works with the VP, Content & Consumer Experience, production, and delivery teams as a hybrid creative strategist to develop and execute social marketing campaigns and programs. This role includes working directly with the client and integrated agency teams to plan, execute and measure all aspects of social media marketing programs.

We are looking for candidates that possess a true passion for building innovative experiences and uncovering the insights that will guide the creation of breakthrough social content for a national brand leading the way in engaging diverse audiences – from small business to consumers – while supporting unique business goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead development of paid and organic campaign content in partnership with creative and production team members
  • Lead the development and maintenance of social media best practice documents, oversee the timely creation of POV documents regarding any significant platform updates, trends and regulatory updates that may impact the client’s social media marketing efforts
  • Manage ongoing optimization of the social strategy, playbook, community management, content creation, social promotions/contests, partnerships, and UGC to improving our delivery and enhance results
  • Conducts and manages ongoing influencer & advocacy initiatives on behalf of clients that adhere to FDA regulations, FTC/FCC guidelines and best practices
  • Partner with client and interagency teams to help develop a data-led understanding of performance and future opportunities, extrapolating key findings and making them relatable and actionable
  • Ensures campaign goals/KPIs are met
  • Serve as key day-to-day client counselor on social media strategy, and troubleshoot issues as they arise
  • Collaborate closely with partner agencies
  • Supervise, train and mentor junior level employees
  • Supports knowledge sharing between the Content& Consumer Experience practice and other disciplines
  • Supports and contributes to business development opportunities

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Advertising, PR, Liberal Arts, Journalism or New Media
  • 5-7 years of social media and digital experience at an interactive, advertising, public relations/communications, or other marketing agency
  • Experience concepting, delivering and executing social media programs for leading consumer brands (experience in a regulated industry is a plus) including social media, content marketing, and paid social media
  • Proven ability to create high level social strategies, and lead tactical execution that delivers against strategic thinking, particularly through a content marketing strategy mindset that looks beyond the day-to-day social media posts, with the ability to marry social media strategy with a brand’s attitude, tone & voice in ways that build valuable and long-lasting relationships with the brand’s target consumers
  • Deep knowledge of all aspects of the social space: platforms, vendors, measurement
  • Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a collaborative agency environment with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Understands basic research techniques and methodologies and use them to support development/execution of client campaigns
  • Possess a proven knowledge of major and emerging social channels, the specific rules of engagement for brands/advertisers on each as well as general platform policies
  • A keen eye for detail, proactive disposition and process driven
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Compensation Range: $105,165 - $158,290 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
