As the Social Media Coordinator at BoxLunch, you’ll be asked to binge-watch shows on Netflix, see the most recent Superhero movie and know all the favorite Disney Pixar characters… then post a story on Instagram about it all. We’re looking for someone obsessed with pop culture, technology and the latest social media trends. Instagram, X, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest – and the ins and outs of all of them. You'll offer administrative support and coordination to the Social Media team with daily operations and implementation of marketing projects and campaigns on social media, ensuring creative and communications reflect the brands of the Company accurately.

This role operates on a hybrid schedule and will require to work from our HQ located in the City of Industry, CA three days a week.

Pay range

    $20.00 - $21.60 an hour

    Please note the pay range for this position starts as listed in the job posting, but other factors such as an individual’s education, location, meeting the minimum job requirements for the role, training and experience, will determine the final salary for potential new hires.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Assist with maintaining the social media content calendar and track creative briefs for content and campaign assets
  • Schedule and publish daily content on all social media channels and engage in social conversation
  • Responsible for social media inbound content tracking and reporting
  • Coordinate and execute sweepstakes prizing and fulfillment and influencer seeding
  • Drive traffic and sales through creation and support of marketing initiatives, processes, and brand goals
  • Monitoring all social media content and look for new opportunities for the brand to engage
  • Provide support on ideate digital activations for larger brand story moments

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Geek-level knowledge of Hot Topic & BoxLunch licensed partners (Disney, Marvel, Warner Brothers, Cartoon Network, Lucasfilm, Studio Ghibli and more)
  • You're a team player but also can thrive working independently on projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of Curalate, Sprout, Khoros and Google shared docs
  • Experience with all social platforms natively and bonus points for experience with Facebook Insights, Instagram Insights, YouTube Analytics, X Analytics
