We’re looking for a creative and self-driven Social Media Content Creator to help us bring our brand story to life through short-form video content. This is a contract role focused on producing 8 engaging video posts per month (2 per week, across 4 weeks).

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop video concepts aligned with brand goals, key campaigns, and seasonal moments
  2. Pitch content ideas and submit a monthly content calendar for approval
  3. Coordinate all aspects of production, including location, props, and talent (if applicable)
  4. Shoot and edit all video content to meet platform specs (primarily IG Reels and TikTok)
  5. Deliver final assets for review and feedback
  6. Collaborate closely with the brand founder (me!) — I will handle posting and scheduling

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience creating high-quality, short-form content for lifestyle brands
  2. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  3. Strong sense of aesthetics, storytelling, and what performs on social
  4. Access to your own production equipment (phone, camera, lighting, etc.)
  5. Familiarity with our brand tone, aesthetic, and mission is a plus

Compensation

This is a flat-rate contract role paying $500/month for 8 fully produced short-form videos. That includes ideation, filming, editing, and delivery. This rate is ideal for an early-career creator, student, or freelancer looking to build their portfolio and gain long-term brand experience. As the brand grows, there will be opportunities to increase pay and scope. We’re looking to build a relationship with someone who’s excited to grow alongside us.
