AUGUST UNITED, voted the fastest growing agency in the Southwest by AdWeek, is looking for a Paid Social Media Specialist to join our busy, quickly growing Influencer Marketing Agency. Because our work moves at such a quick pace, we need someone who can plug-and-play – essentially, we need you to hit the ground running.

The Paid Social Media Specialist is responsible for supporting social media and influencer marketing clients in paid social strategy recommendations, paid media management, and reporting of campaigns. Further, the successful candidate must excel in the areas of measurement and performance benchmarking for paid social amplification.

The successful candidate must have experience managing paid media on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and ideally TikTok and Twitch as well. The successful candidate will have deep paid social media expertise and will be extremely detail oriented, accountable to outcomes, and a team player.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop, execute, and optimize cutting-edge digital campaigns full cycle from conception to launch to optimization to final reports
  2. Work cross-departmentally to align campaign strategies and goals across the agency
  3. Provide ongoing actionable insights into campaign performance to relevant stakeholders
  4. Define, measure, and evaluate relevant paid media KPIs such as impressions/total reach, website traffic, on-site conversion, cost and click performance and ultimately ROI.
  5. Build out media buys for various social ad platforms and oversee the day-to-day execution of paid media
  6. Oversee and manage the overall budget for paid media for each campaign
  7. Conduct in-depth keyword and website research, ad grouping and audience targeting
  8. Maintain and grow knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies
  9. Improve the process for paid media buying and management of influencer marketing and paid social campaigns to increase efficiency and effectiveness for both clients and agency

Travel

This position may require travel once a quarter, mostly domestic. Out-of-state and overnight travel is occasionally expected.

Technical Requirements

  • Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, and has basic knowledge of pivot tables
  • Experience running campaigns across Facebook, Instagram and YouTube

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working in a project management program like Asana
  • Experience using Google Workspace
  • Facebook Blueprint Certification

Required Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field

1-2 years related experience and / or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
