SENIOR MANAGER, SOCIAL MEDIA & INFLUENCERS
As the @amazonfashion social media and influencer channel owner, you are responsible for developing and overseeing the social media strategy for Amazon Fashion and its innovations and launches, its strategic brand vendor programs, and Amazon Fashion private brands. You are responsible for creating measurable strategies with clear KPIs to meet varying objectives, inclusive of bolstering Amazon Fashion's brand, driving product discovery and purchase consideration via social media channels and influencers.
Cross-team collaboration is key in this role. As a part of setting social media strategies, you are responsible for developing and executing marketing communications goals in partnership with PR, and determining social media and/or influencer content integrations across social media, influencers, newsletters, as well as via collaboration with channel owners across the following: Amazon.com on-site placements, paid social advertising, email, legal, trademarks, finance and other channels. As a part of your role to oversee fashion influencer strategy for Amazon Fashion, you are also the responsible point-person to connect brand marketing with Amazon's affiliate network efforts, ensuring affiliate influencer strategies and Amazon Fashion social media strategies align with broader business and brand goals for Amazon Fashion, and are measurable.
As a people-manager, you are responsible for leading a team that delivers results via social media content strategies and thinks-big with innovative, scalable approaches to influencer marketing
Responsibilities will include:
• Develop and execute a lifecycle social media strategy to drive awareness, follower growth and engagement across long-lead, launch and sustain marketing phases
• Use significant expertise and high judgment to design the right team structure and mechanisms to meet long-term business goals
• Manage a growing team of +4 members. May have reports in multiple locations.
• Manage a significant annual budget with flexible scaling model strategies that drive operational and cost efficiencies
• Work closely and collaboratively across marketing strategy, creative, paid social, PR and synergy teams to champion social-first ideas and execute global integrated activations, events and strategies
• Deep understanding of social media metrics and data analysis, balanced with driving new audience growth
• Manage external agencies and oversee campaign strategy and lead creative ideation to deliver innovative, best-in-class brand campaigns for customer
• Partner with paid social team to develop fully integrated brand social campaigns
• Collaborate with social platforms to identify new opportunities and develop innovative activations
• Develop and own goals and performance metrics for Amazon Fashion social handles; use critical understanding of effectiveness, strategy and creative, making recommendations for continuous improvement
• Build relationships with talent and relevant industry influencers
• Regularly contributes and presents strategy, learnings and recommendations to senior leadership
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree
• 10+ years of experience in social media and/or fashion retail marketing
• Experience generating and executing large-scale social media campaigns across platforms with a track record of growing audiences and delivering on engagement metrics
• Experience managing relationships with influencers, celebrities and industry relevant stakeholders
• Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data to measure impact and determine improvements
