The Opportunity
Marvell’s Global Marketing organization is looking for a Head of Influencer Relations to lead the company’s AR, PR, Social Media functions and drive the company’s corporate campaigns strategy. In this role you will be responsible for helping to define and execute Marvell’s relationship with key media and industry influencers in order to produce brand-building communications that help increase awareness of Marvell and ensure that the teams support and amplify marketing efforts and campaigns in key regions, with an emphasis in the U.S.

This position is responsible for ensuring success of the company’s global Influencer Relations programs and meeting or exceeding quantitative and qualitative goals. You will collaborate with business leaders from across the organization, and bring to the table an understanding of the policies and technologies impacting the semiconductor industry today.

To succeed in this role, you'll need to be able to combine creativity with the organizational skills to manage numerous projects and drive cross-team collaboration against tight deadlines, simultaneously. Things happen quickly at Marvell and to get stuff done here you need to be an enthusiastic team player – a self-starter – a roll up your sleeves and get stuff done leader – who can work cross-functionally at all levels of the organization, and isn't frightened to take risks or try out new ways of doing things.

Some of the things you’ll be responsible for include:

• Drive the company’s global Analyst Relations and Public Relations strategy for Marvell.
• Leadership and management of AR, PR and Social Media teams -- including resource management, hiring, mentorship, and performance management.
• Lead and scale US media/public relations to achieve high-visibility, positive presence of Marvell in top tier and industry media.
• Develop corporate messaging to establish consistent delivery and positioning of Marvell.
• Create and drive major, break-through public relations campaigns.
• Lead strategic counsel and program management with cross-functional leadership teams across the company.
• Implement protocols and best practices in anticipation of crisis management.
• Ensure communications strategies are informed by solid data analytics.
  
  

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Public Relations, English, Communications or related discipline. Master’s degree or MBA preferred.

12+ years of experience in PR, media, or corporate communications -- with at least 2 years of experience in leading growing, high-performing teams.

Demonstrated expertise and acumen when communicating to and working with senior executives to provide strategic counsel, clearly articulate ideas, successfully manage differing points of view and build positive relationships and rapport.

Demonstrated organizational, research and analytical skills.

Experience leading general internal communications issue response programs and communications.

Experience managing complex policy issues on a national or international basis.

Ability to deliver high-quality work while managing multiple projects. Ability to quickly identify trending topics and issues with a defined point of view.

Well-developed and maintained media relationships and a solid understanding of the semiconductor market.
