In Facebook Reality Labs, we're building devices and experiences that make people feel closer. This includes Oculus and Portal products, Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) software and content, and research and development labs.We're looking for an accomplished marketing leader to lead Outbound Marketing for AR. This person will be responsible for developing distinctive, effective and integrated consumer marketing that builds our brands in AR and accelerates the growth of our business.Our ideal candidate possesses sharp strategic and creative instincts honed at the world's best brands, experience demonstrating the short- and long-term return of marketing investment, a deep understanding of the value of different paid, owned and earned channels, and a proven ability to build, support, and inspire a multi-disciplinary marketing team to do the best work of their careers.To be successful in the role, this person also will need to be a highly effective cross-functional collaborator, working in partnership with the Sales, Product Marketing, Creative, Growth, Public Relations/Communications teams, among others, and inspiring their teams to do the same.

  • Build and scale our portfolio of augmented reality products and applications
  • Drive adoption of our products and set the foundation for our brands in augmented reality
  • Direct integrated marketing strategy, plans and execution across AR suite of brands and products
  • Build, lead, and grow a multidisciplinary team, including Performance Marketing, CRM, Social, Web, Influencer Marketing, Events, Experiential and Integrated Marketing
  • Partner with Creative, Product Marketing Channel teams and others in the development of breakthrough marketing across all channels
  • Demonstrate the return of marketing investment for the business through both short- and long-term measurement, across brand & performance metrics
  • Build a test & learn culture, enabling the organization to get smarter with every investment we make
  • Forms internal partnerships, influences, resolves conflict, builds alignment, and works effectively across teams to execute the strategy
  • Understands organizational health (engagement, retention, feedback) and can effectively diagnose and make recommendations to solve complex issues that may span multiple teams
  • Proactively detects the largest problems impacting their team's execution and makes decisions that resolve and manage dependencies

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent marketing experience
  • 15+ years experience in consumer marketing
  • 8+ years experience in an integrated marketing leadership role for consumer brands
  • 5+ years experience working on consumer technology brands/products
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams, either formally through reporting structure or informally through influence
  • Experience working across marketing channels - paid, owned, earned, broadcast & digital
  • Experience demonstrating the return of marketing investment in the short- and long-term
  • Experience building and scaling a brand, business, and organization
