Reports To: Director of Marketing Communications

What you’ll be doing:

  • Developing and executing communications strategy for corporate and global efforts
  • Managing our client’s PR agency so they can reach/exceed their goals
  • Engaging with the media and influencer community
  • Drafting blog posts, press releases, emails, pitches, and more
  • Writing and editing internal and external communications, supporting cross-functional teams
  • Sourcing content for the company’s newsletters
  • Contributing to high-profile content like presentations and video scripts
  • Constantly analyzing data, testing, and measuring the success of your communications efforts

Years of Experience: Looking for 5+ years of experience in PR and communications

Industry/Company Background:

  • Looking for someone who has worked extensively in B2B, enterprise/cloud software
  • Working with complex, cloud-based software products that are used by developers/engineers is preferred
  • Experience creating communications for DevOps, SRE, infrastructure, machine learning, data science, and/or developer tools focused products is preferred
  • Experience working for global/enterprise companies with 200+ employees and thousands of customers
  • Experience working with developer relations (DevRel) is preferred

  • Ability to translate complex technical ideas into clear/compelling messages
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, late-stage startup environment
