Lulu and Georgia is looking for an experienced Senior Brand Marketing Manager to join our growing team. The person in this role will be a champion of brand growth - ensuring all media, partnerships, activations, and press fit within the brand guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in brand marketing, be able to strategically plan and execute, have strong creative judgement, and show a love for home decor. This role is full-time in our Los Angeles office and reports to the Director of Marketing.
Roles and Duties:
Brand Growth:
- Own and execute new strategies for brand growth, identifying specific and measurable KPIs for evaluating success
- Efficiently manage the brand marketing budget, ensuring that all spends contribute to the larger brand goals
- Keep a pulse on current events, pop culture, and industry trends to ensure brand is relevant and topical
Partnerships:
- Plan and execute for brand partnerships (sponsorships, activations, sweepstakes, etc.), building the strategy in line with marketing goals and brand reach.
- Foster all established brand relationships and constantly seek out new partners that align with our brand vision and target demographic
- Stay on top of industry players to suggest new licensees and maintain existing licensee relationships
Social Media:
- Oversee social media strategy and manage the Social Media Coordinator
- Continually optimize social media presence to meet growth goals
- Strategically plan partnerships with brands and influencers to grow social media followings and email list size, increase engagement, and reach new customers.
Influencers and PR:
- Manage affiliate and influencer program, continuously ideating to build strategy, efficiencies and results
- Strong knowledge of the influencer space (especially home decor influencers) and a firm grasp of what influencers fit into the Lulu and Georgia Brand
- Foster all established influencer relationships and continue to forge new ones
- Act as a concierge for all partners - place all orders, communicate delivery timelines, and provide support where it’s needed.
- Create an action plan to ensure each partnership meets deadlines and desired outcome.
- Perform a post-mortem on each partnership to evaluate success
- Manage PR strategies with our external agency around product launches, collaborations, and general brand outreach.
Events and Activations:
- Ideate, plan, and project manage Lulu and Georgia activations for different purposes (collection launches, engaging our customers, finding new customers). Ensure each event or activation is executed flawlessly.
- Research markets, shows, etc that align with the Lulu and Georgia brand and execute the brand’s presence at such events.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years brand marketing experience
- Position requires organization, creative problem solving, attention to detail, adaptability and high degree of collaboration and brand understanding
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to multitask and thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
