The Asst Mgr, Influencer Relationsis is the point person for digital influencer relationships & initiatives in the US Marketing team. The primary responsibilities involve developing & growing brand relationships with social influencers & executing initiatives to drive incremental awareness for the brand & products across digital & social platforms. This position requires strong relationships skills, excellent communication & written skills with a strong knowledge of the digital and social media landscape. The candidate must creatively think outside of the box & have an eye for detail.

The position will be based in our corporate office in San Francisco, CA when our offices reopen in alighment with local guidelines.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Drive relationships with content creators & managers across key social channels including YouTube & Instagram.
  • Develop a strategic plan to grow brand awareness/advocacy & drive incremental exposure for our key products while bringing brand DNA to life.
  • Identify opportunities to increase quality & quantity of Benefit generated content. Identify measurement metrics to track content & exposure to measure program/activity success.
  • Oversee and continuously evolve Benefit Club Pink influencer program initiatives to maximize effectiveness for new launches & core products.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to support all relevant initiatives, partnership requests & content needs.
  • Plan & execute Benefit hosted events & experiences. Collaborate with the team to support influencer conferences and other relevant events.
  • Keep a pulse on beauty & makeup trends. Be an in-house expert on our product lines & educate content creators to insert Benefit into the conversations of trends, solutions to dilemmas, etc.
  • Manage all project expenses to keep on track & on budget. Identify cost savings opportunities.
  • Lead all internal communication on program success & trends in the beauty/social space.
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 3+ years marketing, pr and/or digital experience
  • 2+ years digital influencer experience preferred
  • A passion for social media & the beauty industry
  • Knowledge & interest of beauty content & creators on YouTube & social media
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Excellent relationship building skills and negotiating skills
  • Proven track record for achieving results and driving projects
