Our client, the largest cannabis delivery provider in Southern California with exceptional growth in the last year and immediate plans to expand elsewhere in the state, is looking for a full-time direct-hire Field Marketing Manager to join their team 100% remote with a preference for candidates in the LA metro area. This person will be responsible for completely owning the field marketing strategy and execution for this client, which would include building and managing street teams to distribute flyers and other permissible marketing materials to brick-and-mortar locations such as liquor stores and smoke shops, as well as serving as a strategic lead at cannabis-related events such as conventions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop field marketing plan annually based on target segmentation and business building objectives.
  • Develop, oversee and analyze field marketing strategy, processes, calendar and promotional plans, campaigns and spend optimization.
  • Manage all marketing activity outside of traditional "paid media" including prospect/customer marketing, influencer and digital publisher marketing to increase awareness in local market and drive new delivery orders.
  • Hire, lead, develop, engage and motivate street team members
  • Implement a process and approach to schedule, track, execute, report, and quantify Field Marketing activities

Requirements

  • Bachelors in Marketing or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience leading field marketing or ambassador/street team program
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks with competing priorities, ability to think critically and exercise independent judgment and discretion
  • Proficient organization skills and attention to detail with high level of personal initiative, accountability, and follow-through skills
  • Excellent networking and relationship building skills
  • Experience within regulated products such as Cannabis, Alcohol, or Pharma is a huge plus
