The Influencer Community Manager plays an integral role in maintaining and expanding the Valassis influencer network.

What You'll Do

  • Identify areas to innovate and grow the network in new areas (i.e. new technology, new processes, strategic opportunities– DEI, board of influencers, verticals etc.)
  • Serve as SME both internally and externally for influencer relations, recruiting, and management
  • Support and oversee all influencer aspects of campaign management and handoffs to client/campaign management (i.e. recruiting/sourcing and vetting, negotiating and partnering with influencers, influencer onboarding and content management, product fulfillment, content asset collection/review and approval, and campaign push-live).
  • Partner cross-functionally with client/campaign management to collaborate on overarching client and campaign needs and goals
  • Maintain a pulse a marketing, influencer and social media trends. Utilize these insights to share learnings and recommendations with the internal team as the voice of the influencer
  • Analyze campaign performance data, providing detailed recaps and recommendations as needed (i.e. influencer best practices)
  • Establish and identify operational processes to ensure team and product function efficiently and seamlessly.
  • Team leadership/management/training of Influencer Community Associates
  • Act as a liaison between client/campaign management and influencers/content creators

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3 - 5 years Relevant Experience in influencer campaign management with an agency or CPG brand
  • 3 - 5 years Relevant Experience in Influencer contracting and negotiating

  • Highly adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Have a strong understanding of the social media landscape and influencer marketing trends
  • Ability to demonstrate ownership of identifying areas of improvement and implementing new ideas/processes for the success of a team, clients, and influencers
  • Outstanding project management skills with the ability to multi-task and define what needs to get done
  • Passion for community building, advocacy, and developing relationships with social media influencers and content creators
