Marketing Associate - Social and Influencer Marketing

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a smart, disciplined team-player interested in career in marketing to join an innovative, growing global company full-time and build the company’s social and influencer marketing channels. This role will collaborate with our global team to build brand affinity presence in our channels and sales to execute on the strategies.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with Director of Marketing to develop social media and influencer strategy for Teamson Home and Kids product.
- Brand and build followers interested in Teamson product sold on www.teamson.com, www.teamsonkids.com, Amazon Marketplace, Walmart Marketplace, and dot com retail partner channels – Target, Home Depot, Wayfair, etc.
- Manage and publish content on all brand social channels – message brand, product offers and demos
- Partner with marketing, brand management and sales operations for content / assets (copy, images and video)
- Create unique shareable original content for all social media channels—either inhouse and/or with agency partners as needed
- Create brand appropriate content for social media and influencer programs
- Build social media community across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok, etc. through paid and organic programs
- Manage follower responses, engagement and coordinate with Teamson customer service
- Engage follower on User Generated Content
- Manage # Hashtag and follower growth programs
- Build network of influencers, manage budgeted programs for product demonstrations and access to followers
- Manage social media marketing calendar for new product introduction, direct to consumer channel offers, wholesale partner programs
- Stay informed on the social media landscape, trends and how to best incorporate ideas into our current strategy when relevant
- Work with manager to build and continuously evolve a social media strategy that grows brand affinity, engagement, and ultimately, conversion
- Partner with business and web analytics associate to on digital marketing campaigns tracking, reporting, performance metrics and execution workflow
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum bachelor’s degree,
- 3+ years of relevant social media marketing experience at a consumer brand or agency
- Expert knowledge of social media platforms, including their respective strengths and demographics (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok, etc.)
- Experience in managing social media dashboards, analytics and publishing tools (Hoot Suite)
- A strong track record of building social media engagement and community
- Superb copywriting skills with the ability to be conversational but without sacrificing trustworthiness and spelling
- Able to navigate both the creative and analytical sides of social media, with knowledge of using all relevant tools – Google analytics, Face Book Business Tools, etc.
- Experience in launching a new product
- Experience in Home Furnishings, Home Décor and Children’s Furniture a plus not a requirement
- Able to work in a small team-oriented environment
- Self-starter, detail oriented, and goal driven individual
- Confident communicator with the ability to research and presenting ideas to management
