Brand Summary

Position Summary
The Global Brand Marketing Coordinator will work under the Global Brand Manager and support managing the execution of marketing initiatives and activities for Mauna Loa. These initiatives include campaigns (social media, web, print, broadcast, etc.), packaging updates, events, tradeshows, corporate responsibility programs, and sponsorships.
Essential Functions
- Support rebrand launch & marketing efforts in the North America market, including marketing & commercial plans, go-to-market strategy, and in market support.
- Manage social media agency by ensuring content calendar is in line with key initiatives, collateral is up to brand standards, and maintain scorecard to report metrics
- Partner with Creative Agency on asset creation, including big idea campaign, and manage timelines.
- Build and maintain relationships with influencers, content creators, and brand advocates for earned and paid media
- Manage asset creation and timeline for amazon.com and other online retailers
- Develop global branding guidelines for cross-functional teams and creative agencies
- Manage tradeshow activities, including on-site, pre- and post- promotions, booth setup and displays, press materials and releases, and logistical coordination
- Coordinate marketing efforts with Hawaiʻi and global marketing teams
- Manage packaging updates, including new innovation items, by working with innovation and procurement teams
- Mange global marketing budget including invoice processing and budget tracking; reconcile entire marketing budget on a monthly basis and provide guidance for shifting budget throughout the year
- Maintain and manage trademarks, patents, and licensing
- Coordinate marketing efforts with Hawaiʻi and global marketing teams
- Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams and others to achieve desired outcomes
- Support ad-hoc projects as needed by Marketing Team
- Collaborate with E-Commerce Manager to update e-commerce platforms and maunaloa.com
- Perform other work related duties as assigned due to shifts in business needs
- Perform all duties and maintain all standards in accordance with company policies and procedures
Education, Experience, Required Skills
- Confident, driven, self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit. Able to work autonomously and efficiently, handling time-sensitive projects and prioritizing multiple objectives simultaneously. Meeting deadlines and drive projects to completion with minimum guidance and acute attention to detail in a cross-functional, team-based environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in business marketing or related fields
- Minimum two years brand marketing experience with preference in consumer packaged goods (CPG), Naturals, and social media
- Past experience working with creative agencies and cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated leadership, project management, and problem solving skills
- Ability to problem solve, analyze data, and perform critical thinking
- Must be able to travel intra/interstate(s) and out of the country (10%)
Preferred Skills
- Marketing and brand management experience
- Strong passion for food brands and within the Naturals space
- Digital marketing, including social media (paid and owned), SEO, email/text marketing, influencer program
