We’re looking for a Junior Content Strategist to join our team! Advanced Systems Group, LLC (ASG) provides onsite managed services for the world's largest search engine headquartered in Mountain View, CA.

We’re looking to create a steady flow of engaging content for a recently launched program focused on empowering Web Creators (bloggers, journalists, editors and everyone else creating content on the web). The Junior Content Strategist will work closely with the Social Lead to develop daily content across multiple social channels including Instagram and Twitter.

This is not an entry level position. The ideal candidate has experience with content strategy and digital content creation, as well as a solid understanding of social media best practices for business. And while our content is built to educate our audience, it is purposefully playful in tone - pop culture knowledge is a huge plus.

This is a full time salaried role with benefits. This position is remote through September 2021, and will then be located in Mountain View, CA.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft copy/create images for Instagram and Twitter posts
  • Ideating and executing on social media campaigns
  • Influencer research and outreach, with the goal of co-creating content
  • Community engagement (responding to mentions and comments)
  • Analyze social media stats to ensure our content is resonating with our audience
  • Daily task logging in our internal work management system

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • 2+ years of content strategy experience
  • 2+ years experience using major social media platforms for business
  • Solid understanding of best practices for Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Photoshop
  • Experience creating and editing video
  • Experience building and/or managing a website
  • Experience with Google Workspace (formally GSuite)
  • Experience with Community Management
  • Has a pulse on current pop culture trends

  • Ability to troubleshoot own devices & connectivity
