Social Media & Influencer Specialist
ROLE SUMMARY:
Voluspa is seeking a strategic and creative Social Media + Influencer Specialist to bring the Voluspa brand to life through all social media channels and influencer campaigns. This role will develop and execute a social media strategy and influencer partnerships that will support global brand awareness, drive revenue to brand channels and support key accounts. As well as grow and maintain the brands social media presence. A passion for all thing’s social media, content creation, storytelling and analytics will be key in this role. This position will report directly to the Digital Marketing Manager and work closely with other departments to integrate creative needs for strategic implementation.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Develop social media strategy across all social channels: Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest + Twitter, LinkedIn, Tik Tok
- Build a strategy to grow overall engagement across social
- Create and maintain a social media calendar. Align with ecommerce/mark. calendar, key accounts exclusive launches, product launches, sampling program, etc.
- Use scheduling platform to schedule out daily content across all channels that aligns with content pillars
- Maintain brands aesthetic and art direction across social platforms
- Engage with audience on all social channels on a daily basis: responding to comments, messages, DMs, customer service inquiries, etc.
- Create content specific for social: photography, video, graphic design
- Keep up with marketing and social media trends
- Track competitor’s social media accounts
- Copywriting
- Drive strategy for increasing revenue driven from social to the website
- Build KPIs to track and measure metrics and goal setting
- Weekly + monthly reporting: tracking KPIs, overall benchmark metrics, WoW, MoM and YoY
- Utilize Google Analytics for reporting
- Brand and influencer partnerships for launches and social media giveaways
- Build relationships with influencers and content creators
- Develop influencer marketing campaigns on a paid and organic level
- Maintain influencer database
- Oversee influencer mailers per season/ launch
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- BA in a marketing or business
- 3+ years’ work experience in social media and influencer marketing
- Extensive knowledge of all social media platforms
- Build and maintain relationships with influencers
- Staying up to date with social trends
- Experience with Google Analytics
- Experience with photography, image resizing/ retouching skills, and graphic design skills required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including going the extra mile in order to achieve deadlines and/or meet changing needs
- Eye for quality and detail
- Writing and communication skills
- Proactive and positive team member, problem solver and excellent communicator
- Strong work ethic, reliable and flexible to different area(s) needs
- Desire to learn new things and evolve in order to keep in tune to current trends in the fashion, lifestyle, interior design, retailing, social media and general CPG aesthetics
- Basecamp experience and/or familiarity is a plus for project management
