The PR & Partnerships Manager is responsible for developing and implementing North American PR, partnership and media strategies in alignment with the business and marketing goals, utilising organic and paid media placements.



We’ll be looking to you to:

  • Ideate, plan and execute all media relations in North America, providing guidance to global team members and agencies
  • Take ownership of our new media strategy (Podcasts, Streaming Services etc) and develop regional specific plans to drive brand awareness and grow sales in alignment with the broader marketing strategy.
  • In accordance with the marketing objectives for each region, develop and roll out a yearly partnership plan and provide analysis at the end of each campaign and quarter. Complete quarterly reviews of media efforts (organic & paid) to the CMO and Marketing Manager that offers a detailed and strategic analysis of ROI.
  • Under the guidance of the CMO and in conjunction with the Marketing Manager, explore and develop business cases for alternative advertising platforms including direct mail, OOO, TV & Radio.
  • Lead and execute events where they form part of the marketing strategy.
  • Work closely with the retail team to ensure consistency between DTC and retail partners and ensure retail specific objectives are achieved.
  • Develop a business-related pitching strategy, to raise awareness of the business and founders within relevant communities.
  • Manage interns and agencies where and when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years in a similar role, with DTC experience required and retail experience preferred
  • Thorough background in marketing, eventing, press and partnerships.
  • Established up to date press/media contacts across the US.
  • Experience creating and building strong brand partnerships.
  • Strong eventing and advertising experience preferred.
  • Understanding of influencer marketing preferred.
  • Results-driven with exceptional detail and knowledge around ROI analysis, particularly for channels that are harder to attribute direct ROI to.
  • Creative, out of the box mindset & eye for branding and aesthetics.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, respond well under pressure and prioritise needs within short time frames, with ability to move quickly or try things out of your comfort zone.
  • Ability to deliver high quality work with fast turnaround times and strong attention to detail.
  • Willingness to get into the detail and your hands dirty.

What’s the deal?

  • This role will be full time 5 days a week in the NY office. *Currently WFH due to Covid pending)
  • The salary is TBC. Your salary will depend on the expertise and capability you bring.
  • Our office is dog friendly, bring your pooch on scheduled days.
