Assistant Marketing Manager - Laneige
Amorepacific US is seeking an Assistant Marketing Manager who will be responsible for marketing activities for Laneige that include managing local product launch and promotional calendar across all channels of distribution, supporting marketing operations and execution of 360° integrated marketing programs. The Assistant Manage will provide support in strategy and brand-awareness building with collaboration with PR, social media, digital and interactions with all key stakeholders including retail partners and influencer/editors.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute annual and seasonal marketing calendar in conjunction with sales department and channel teams that detail product launches, promotional activities, sampling initiatives and collateral support
- Prepare and help develop marketing meeting decks and 360 degree go-to-market plans
- Liaise with HQ on local market support, ensuring timeline of product development, packaging, copy, HUT testing, global assets for new products; and confirmation of new product pricing/cost/order quantities
- Track product production schedule and manage readiness of go-to-market, including new launch forecasts, inbound delivery dates and replenishment orders
- Assist with new product set ups, including internal and external set up forms, product shipments and fulfillment of other retailer requests
- Partner with cross functional team members and agencies to ensure successful execution of local marketing plan
- Develop enhanced marketing content, for use on digital & social and manage asset delivery and execution
- Manage visual merchandising updates across all channels, including assortment, graphics, and acrylics
- Develop plan for store events including event tool kit and partner with sales team on activation protocols
- Partner with education team to develop brand and product training tools, event protocols, and education collateral
- Brief designer on any marketing related creative projects
- Prepare monthly marketing and sales reports and manage ad hoc initiatives as required
- Research and analyze market trends, competitive launches and activities
- Participate in brand events in-store or other (press launches, influencer events, consumer activations)
- Stay connected with the beauty, lifestyle influencer world and help identify potential influencers to build brand network
- Assist Sr. Manager with annual A&P budget reconciliation and program invoices
Qualifications
- Experience in beauty marketing preferred (3-4 years)
- Bachelor or higher degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related subject
- Experience in marketing operations, brand communications and launch support execution
- Knowledge of advertising and promotion
- Understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals
- Strong written skills and ability to articulate conceptual ideas
- Strong project management skills and ability to multi-task
- Excellent organizational skills and work ethic
- Good ability to problem solve and offer solutions
