Digital Marketing Specialist
At The Idea Marketing we do good, one marketing campaign at a time. Our focus on behavioral change and social campaigns sets us apart from other agencies. That means we are a bit picky, and only take on projects we feel have value towards a greater good. We are currently looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist for 30 hours weekly for a three-month contract (possibility of extension or hiring). This position is currently remote, but we are looking for someone with a deep understanding of Colorado’s digital and social media landscape.

Responsibilities:
- Developing, implementing and managing digital marketing strategy and campaigns, including website, SEM/PPC, paid and organic social media, to deliver key messages to target audiences and achieve KPIs.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to build meaningful social media plans and campaigns that support business initiatives.
- Be the campaign storyteller, editing and adapting campaign messaging across all digital channels.
- Identify opportunities to produce storytelling initiatives, including short and long-form videos, social videos, influencer campaigns and co-branded campaigns or content.
- Manage media spend approach in collaboration with internal stakeholders based on audience targets and campaign objectives.
- Ensure projects are up to quality standards, timelines and budget.
- Advise on social media best practices, new platforms and emerging technologies.
- Use content marketing and social media activation best practices leveraging new and emerging platforms, tools, trends, and partnerships.
- Align all content and engagement efforts with the brand narrative, personality, and tone.
- In collaboration with the design team, craft, curate, publish and manage social media content. This includes drafting copy, and leading graphic design requests to fulfill both short and long-term campaign needs.
- Ensure set social KPIs are met. Managei-depth reporting as well as comprehensive social ROI analysis. Leverage analytics to optimize content performance.
- Develop editorial calendar for digital and social in collaboration with communications team.
- Monitor social media engagements and conversations, pull listening data and be able to compile insights into actionable next steps
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- 3+ years of social media and/or digital experience
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including editing, proofreading, copy editing, and organizing.
- Bilingual a plus (English/Spanish)
- Passionate about digital content, consumer experience, social media and are knowledgeable about the features and functionalities of emerging platforms as well as more traditional outlets
- Creativity and thoughtfulness on how new media technologies can be utilized.
- Deep familiarity with social media audience targeting, media buying and management, best practices, and analytics.
- Proven success as a content developer and manager of online and digital campaigns that yield high engagement against measurable analytics.
- Experience managing rapidly evolving projects.
- Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills. Willingness to help set strategy as well as execute.
- Able to keep their cool in high-stress situations and fast-paced environments.
