Position Summary: Position will be responsible for creating and managing organic and paid social media campaigns, email marketing and nurturing campaigns. The SMM will oversee brand-wide marketing activities including content strategy and generation, channel expansion, segmentation and targeting opportunities, and market or store-specific initiatives. The position will involve integration with multiple internal departments and outside agencies/vendors to extend the brand positioning, mission, and voice into the digital space while developing effective campaigns and strengthening online communities.
Requirements
Primary responsibilities:
- Develop and implement content and calendars for social media campaigns while optimizing hyperlocal opportunities based on company operations and sales insights.
- Create and execute multi-channel interactive campaigns to prospects and guests, ensuring brand consistency across all digital platforms. Campaigns include, but are not limited to, new store openings, social contests, local activations, influencer partnerships and cross-promotional opportunities with the local community and charitable partners.
- Build actionable plans to grow and maintain followers across current and prospective social media channels while maintaining brand authenticity and outreach engagement.
- Identify appropriate social listener and content management/publishing tools, as well as automated marketing opportunities.
- Manage e-newsletter marketing and evaluate other internal messaging platforms.
- Gather customer and market insights to segment audiences, inform outreach strategies and increase customer conversions.
- Conduct analytics reporting, extract key insights and optimize accordingly.
- Track and manage budget/spend.
The Ideal Candidate
- 5-7 years experience in digital and social marketing with proven success
- Driven by compassion and integrity, keeping the values and mission of SAG as a focus
- Creative and innovative in developing social media content that will increase engagement and strengthen brand affinity
- Excellent written communication skills in alignment with a clear voice
- Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
- Proficiency with online marketing, social media platforms and audience segmentation strategies
- Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools
- Thrives in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines and changing needs
