ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Global Brand Manager, you will play a key role across the two-year product development cycle, shaping brand direction, supporting financial planning, and managing the brand TLP and marketing budget. You’ll lead annual global brand plans and work closely with US, Australian, and Export teams to deliver aligned assets and content that bring global launches to life. This role is a 12-month fixed term parental leave position, commencing 31 March 2026.
Responsibilities
- Shape brand and product strategy by identifying market gaps, retailer insights, and competitive opportunities across global markets
- Partner with our Product Team to define line architecture and deliver seasonal and exclusive ranges that hit margin and volume targets
- Lead brand planning processes (BDO, TLP, budgets, forecasts), ensuring alignment across global stakeholders
- Drive end-to-end global marketing plans, from integrated campaign briefs and TVC/content delivery to post-campaign analysis
- Develop and activate a strong digital ecosystem, including social-led content and entertainment strategies across multiple brands
- Manage global launches, assets, and calendars, working closely with US, AUS, and Export teams
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external agencies to deliver impactful, cost-effective programs
- Own marketing assets and trade strategy, including POS, focus group research, and regulatory compliance
- Deliver compelling seasonal presentations, concept decks, and sales summit materials
- Thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment while keeping communication clear, timely, and collaborative
ABOUT YOU
Qualifications & Skills
- 3+ years' experience in a similar marketing role.
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing or related field.
- Strong time management; able to handle competing priorities.
- Clear, impactful communication and stakeholder management.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Commercial thinking and strong analytical skills, including budget management.
- Skilled in data analysis and identifying key trends.
- Experience or knowledge of the toy industry and consumer marketing to children would be highly regarded.
- Experience in consumer insights, product and packaging development, preferable but not mandatory.
