This opportunity calls for a passionate, dynamic, and influential leader who can build, grow, lead, and inspire a team that has a passion for social media and influencer marketing. This is an incredible opportunity to bring your expertise, experience and network to the industry's first influencer casting agency. As the lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of dedicated, hard working and motivated individuals as they work to build the careers of the agency's exclusive talents. This position may be for a Vice President or Senior Director level, depending on qualifications and experience.
Desired Characteristics
- Demonstrate a true passion for and understanding of influencer marketing, emerging digital platforms and how they can be leveraged
- Expert in both social platform and influencer nuances as it relates to strategy, influencer tiers, and verticals
- Thought leader for internal team, managed talents, clients, and partners
- Act as the day-to-day contact for the team to provide strategic solutions on anything/everything
- Expert understanding of budgets, planning and impact against goals
- Develop concepts and programs for a diverse client roster across different industries
- Contribute your ideas and work as part of an integrated, inter-disciplinary agency team
- Be willing to roll up your sleeves, teach the team how to up-level work and drive results.
- Strengthen work across disciplines, working with our creative and execution team to improve our work output
- Successfully launch programs that grow, innovate and/or streamline agency capabilities and support exclusive talent
- Proactively spot opportunities for strategic growth to drive additional revenue or to improve people, processes and/or tools to achieve goals
- Stay current on the latest social technology, functionality and integrations to serve as a go-to resource for the client and internal team
- Exhibit an understanding of the company's overall strategy and goals
- Bring a network of partners and potential client connections
- Understand internal operations and inter-team cooperation
- Actively participate in agency brainstorm sessions, on topics and clients, throughout the organization
Qualifications
- Candidates must have at least 5-8 years of relevant experience in talent management and digital marketing
- Polished, innovative, collaborative, creative and strong operational leader
- Experience managing teams and budgets
- A demonstrated track record for developing and executing contracts on behalf of talents and brand clients
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills and demonstrated ability to delegate tactical assignments and accurately judge and edit work of others
- Accountability to reliably take ownership of work and responsibilities.
- Digital fluency - confident in speaking to and educating about the rapidly changing digital landscape, including platforms, technology and innovation
- Ability to think creatively on your feet and take initiative to improve or create effective processes
- Ability to set and exceed performance goals
- Goal oriented with a proven track record of success
- Strong knowledge of digital culture, talented writer, clear communicator, engaging presenter
- Willingness to thrive in a highly collaborative culture and to consult with executive management
Familiarity with analytics and reporting across earned, owned, and paid platforms. - Strong knowledge in Federal Trade Commission Guidelines (FTC) and standard deal points
Software Skills
- Must be Mac savvy
- GSuite
- Technology and platform tools such as Tagger, CreatorIQ, Tribe, Activate, Izea is a plus.
- QuickBase is a plus
