The Social Media & Influencers Senior Manager will be a member of the Communications Team reporting into the Social Media Lead on the Channel Communications Team. The Airbnb Communications team delivers stories and campaigns that keep Airbnb front of mind, helping to stimulate word-of-mouth and supporting direct traffic to the site. A key component of this as consumer media consumption evolves is the integration of press, social media and influencers. This role will be responsible for compelling content strategies that drive engagement on owned social channels (particularly Twitter and Instagram) as well as developing and executing social influencer programs.
Responsibilities
- Work with MarComm to ideate and execute Instagram strategy and copy for consumer campaigns and targeted audience consumer programs (design, creatives, Gen Z).
- Collaborate with Consumer + Product comms team, and MarComm social team in spotting trends and conversation on social and identifying and executing newsjacking opportunities to drive positive conversation.
- Develop and execute social influencer marketing strategies
- Identify and build relationships with social-first content creators and influencers.
- Develop influencer-facing creative briefs.
- Research relevant influencer insights including target audience and users.
- Monitor, track, manage and analyze influencer and social campaigns using Airbnb preferred tools and platforms.
- Create schedule and calendar plans for content releases.
- Help develop organic, always on content for social, and partner with cross functional stakeholders for social led campaign content.
Requirements
- 5-7 years experience in Social Media and Influencers
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Deep knowledge and expertise of Instagram including but not limited to strategy, engagement, etc.
- Advanced experience in copywriting, adherence to brand guidelines and tone of voice
- Proven body of work and experience with working with social-first influencers and content creators for large-scale and bespoke brand collaborations
- A passion for pop culture and trends
- Deep knowledge and experience building and executing campaigns across the following platforms: Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook
- Working knowledge and familiarity with social listening and influencer management tools i.e. Sprinklr, CreatorIQ
- Experience with celebrity-level talent a plus
