Social Media Marketing Manager
Gupta Media is looking for an enthusiastic, passionate storyteller to help our clients amplify their brands. As a Social Media Marketing Manager, they will be responsible for developing the strategy for clients' social media and influencer marketing efforts, its effective execution and measurement of its success.
Our ideal person has proven experience identifying and engaging influencers, managing influencer outreach programs, and creating engaging, brand worthy content. Equally at home brainstorming and executing fresh ideas in collaboration with our Media and Creative teams or in pitching proposals to clients, they are driven and ambitious, can drive new ideas forward with ease, exhibits creative and analytical thinking, and demonstrates a passion for an ever-evolving social media landscape within the a consumer and e-commerce world.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and execute clients’ social media and influencer marketing strategies;
- Lead content creation and curation for clients’ social media, including managing editorial calendar, writing content and guiding the development of visuals and other creative assets on social platforms;
- Manage influencer marketing campaigns from signed SOW to post-campaign reporting;
- Create and execute project campaign timelines and schedules, adapting as appropriate to meet campaigns and client goals;
- Strategize across Media, Strategy and Creative teams internally to ensure programs to grow and engage audiences and followers;
- Stay current with and assess industry and social media trends, tools, platforms, innovations, and best practices.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Communications, Marketing, or related field;
- 3+ years experience in a dedicated social media role, preferably with a background in promoting consumer and/or ecommerce brands;
- Strong portfolio of successful campaigns, demonstrating creative storytelling ability across multiple social platforms that build awareness, engage new and existing customers, and increase conversions;
- Demonstration of creative storytelling ability, able to distill content into bite-sized social media captions and images;
- Excellent communication and creative thinking skills with the ability to use data to inform strategic decisions;
- Outstanding writing, editing and proofreading skills ;
- Driven to learn new things and constantly improve on current methods;
- Proactive and independent with the ability to work in a variety of media, meet tight deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously and adjust as circumstances change.
