Social Media / Content Manager

As Content Manager, you will be tasked with driving the day-to-day delivery on our clients’ social media needs in collaboration with the wider social, content and agency team.
Reporting into our Associate Vice President of Social & Integration with a dotted line into the Executive Vice President of Social & Integration, you will play an integral part in building, managing and maintaining strong relationships with our direct client contacts on a daily basis as we bring the brands they represent to life in social via strategically informed creative content executions that effectively engage the intended audience.
In this role you will work as part of a dynamic, forward-thinking team navigating all areas of the social media realm—from content strategy and creation to community management to reporting to influencer marketing and relations to paid amplification and project management. You will be a go-to social specialist in the agency and stay on top of this exciting, ever-changing space in which you will learn something new every day.
Key Objectives
Account Management
- Proactive management of day-to-day client contact with assigned clients via email, phone and in person
- Organization of regular WIP meetings relating to status updates on assigned accounts, both internally and externally with client or partner agencies
- Development and consistent updating of assigned internal and client WIP documents
- Liaison with internal teams, locally and globally, with regard to work in progress on a daily basis via phone, email, Teams chat and in person
- Constant management of client and internal team (senior, peer, junior) expectations surrounding key deliverables on assigned accounts
- Management of account admin, including but not limited to job setup and distribution, daily timesheet management/completion, server/document organization and management, SOW/estimate development, support to account service team in finance management/billing, and organizing internal and client team meetings
- Management of content, community and paid social approval process both internally and with client
- Support in development of account reconciliations to ensure adherence to allocated budgets and inform resource allocation and utilization in most effective/efficient manner across assigned accounts
- Strong collaboration and constant communication/integration with account teams and external stakeholders
Content & Community Management
- Management and development of strategically informed and creative content, content calendars and paid social media plans, working to Red Havas formats and templates across assigned accounts on annual, quarterly, monthly, weekly or daily basis as agreed with client
- Ability to develop social media executions and content ideas to the Content Producers to create social media assets in the form of well-thought-out briefs
- Long- and short-form copywriting and conceptual content development for best practice creative and multiformat content across all mainstream social media channels, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn and Snapchat
- In-depth knowledge of social media best practices, content formats and available features across all mainstream and new social media channels
- Management of server folders and document/file saving across assigned client accounts as per agreed naming conventions and process in place
- In-depth knowledge of paid social media methods and best practices across all mainstream social media channels
- Development of paid social media plans either independently across smaller accounts or in partnership with an Insights & Optimization Manager across larger accounts with high level of spend
- In-depth knowledge of native reporting tools and available metrics across all mainstream and new social media channels
- Development of annual, quarterly, monthly, weekly or daily social media performance dashboards/reports outlining performance across key metrics and agreed KPIs, insights into performance, recommendations for improvement and landscape/competitor updates or analysis
- In-depth knowledge of social media management and reporting tools available across the social landscape and used by the agency or across client accounts
- Monitoring and management of assigned social media communities across all mainstream channels
- Development, management and updating of social media conversation matrix across assigned client accounts
- Timely management of and responses to social media comments, questions and other queries on assigned social media channels across clients
- Management and content development for Red Havas social media channels and blog as relevant
- Regular (daily) consumption and sharing of all key social media news/updates
- Development of social media influencer proposals, including selection of relevant influencers/co-creators or talent based on client needs
- Influencer/talent liaison and development of strong ongoing partnerships and relationships
- Development of new business pitches or existing client campaign proposals in collaboration with wider assigned team as per agreed timelines
- Management/communication of and delivery ahead of or on agreed deadlines as assigned by client/account/project
- Delivery of visual and verbal presentations to internal and client teams on the topic of social media and integration thereof across other channels/agency areas of excellence
Project Management
- Development of detailed project plans and delivery timelines based on agreed client deliverables and expectations in line with agreed agency process and using assigned tools
- Liaison with internal teams surrounding delivery on client deadlines and expectations
- Management, completion, submission and oversight of timely resource booking requests in line with agency process
- Development of production timelines and run sheets for social media content creation shoots
- Management of pre-during-post-production process across social media content creation shoots
- Collaboration with Operations/Project Management team and relevant leads in management of projects and “Business as Unusual” deliverables on assigned accounts
- Setup and management of job codes across assigned client accounts and internal projects
People Management & Soft Skills
- Strong upward, downward and sideways communication with seniors, peers and juniors across internal and client teams
- Ability to effectively manage internal team and client/stakeholder expectations through timely and clear communication via phone, email and in person on a daily basis
- Sharing of relevant information relating to social media landscape, client work in progress or upcoming projects with social media and wider agency teams as relevant to each account
- Proactive approach to professional upskilling of both yourself and those around you through proposed training and development both internally and externally

Business Development
- Participation in development of social/content new-business pitch proposals, including the organization and management of pitch process and timelines/meetings to ensure constant progress and completion of successful materials
- Proactive assessment of organic growth opportunities across assigned and other client accounts
- Development of campaign proposals, including content strategy, ideas and paid social media or influencer executions in collaboration with wider team
- Development or input of informed hours into campaign estimates/scopes of work
- Proactive collaboration with senior/wider team to inform constant improvement of agency social media/content offering
Partnerships, Tools & Development
- Constant assessment and evaluation of available best-practice social media/communications tools and technology with the aim of keeping Red Havas at the forefront of the industry and delivering the most efficient/effective outcomes for its clients
- Development and management of strong relationships with key contacts at partner companies—particularly social media platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube/Google, Twitter, etc.
- Regular attendance at relevant social media/industry events both physically and online, i.e., via webinars
- Constant sharing of key industry updates and information with internal (local/global) and client teams
