The Senior Director of Growth for JustFab and ShoeDazzle will be responsible for leading a team to deliver customer acquisition goals with daily attention to performance of advertising campaigns and clear communication to leadership and cross-functional partners to ensure attainment of monthly financial goals. The ideal candidate is an analytical, results-driven leader with deep experience working in a fast-paced, performance-focused marketing team and endless compassion for consumers as we create advertising and digital shopping experiences to meet and exceed their demands.

This position will report to the CMOs of JustFab and ShoeDazzle, leading a team that services both brands.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead an 11-person marketing and acquisition creative team to drive success across digital media channels by evaluating customer behavior across all channels and on brand websites; leading the optimization of creative story telling and digital shopping experiences for new customers, including ad creative, landing page creative, quiz and offer optimization; and partnering with brand PR and Partnerships teams to ensure that our end-to-end influencer programs are optimized for growth.
  • Build a powerful partnership with the internal digital agency (aka The Media Team) that does the media buying across all media channels – develop a highly functional, deeply integrated test-and-learn culture to find the best creatives and digital shopping funnel experiences to maximize return on investment of our advertising dollars for growth
  • Lead cross-functional strategic planning & budgeting process for growth initiatives, partnering with FP&A lead and The Media Team to develop the annual & monthly acquisition marketing plan, including media mix strategy, spend targets, and CAC targets by media channel and overall.
  • Help crack new channels, grow emerging channels and optimize established channels working closely with the media team.
  • Work with media analytics team to drive an ever-evolving understanding of advertising performance across channels using a variety of attribution methodologies and solid judgment to make sound business decisions about advertising investments.
  • Lead team in partnership with brand to create powerful campaigns that drive response, partnering closely with brand creative teams to fully leverage all creative assets and with brand marketing and merchandising to tell the most compelling stories about our merch (top selling styles, key brand marketing campaigns that could be leveraged, etc.).
  • Drive innovation in acquisition offers, CRM campaigns, and digital shopping experiences to boost conversions through constant testing and learning across all touchpoints on the customer journey to activate a VIP membership.

Required Skills:

  • Highly analytical – being able to tell stories with data and translate numbers into actionable insights.
  • Experience in media buying agency or managing digital media for an ecommerce business, leveraging an agency. Must have experience managing performance with a variety of digital channels, including: Paid Social, Display, SEO/SEM, Streaming Video, YouTube, Influencers, and/or Friend Referral programs.
  • Experience leading rapid A/B tests on landing pages, building testing framework, briefing designers, copywriters, developers & product managers as well as reporting on results; general knowledge of content management systems and best practices to optimize site content.
  • Experience working with Product Managers to build test and scaled environments to deliver optimal customer experiences
  • Agile Mindset – our brands have large media budgets; a small company mentality (e.g., test quickly, fail quickly, fix quickly) is needed along with a collaborative approach
  • Preferably 10-15 years in online / multi-channel marketing with a proven track record of business growth
