Job Description:
The Digital Marketing Specialist will collaborate with internal and external partners to manage marketing campaigns throughout digital channels. Playing a key role on the Marketing Team, this subject matter expert will be responsible for planning, implementing, optimizing, and analyzing paid search and social media campaigns in addition to other digital strategies supporting multiple brands and Powerplay Retail.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Create and execute campaigns across channels including paid search and social.
- Manage day-to-day duties including campaign setup, tagging, bidding strategies, optimization techniques, budget management, performance monitoring, forecasting and A/B testing.
- Analyze paid digital metrics to report actionable insights and recommendations.
- Manage client's social media strategy including managing their content calendar, identifying new content opportunities, and community management.
- Manage entire influencer marketing process from identifying and recruiting influencers to approving influencer content.
- Develop and execute content marketing strategy for partners and owned brands including linking strategy, writing and optimizing blog content and articles.
- Support corporate marketing activities including, email programs, collaboration with Marketing Director on LinkedIn strategy and execution, and SEO/website maintenance.
- Support ad hoc marketing requests.
- Other duties as assigned.
Applicant Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related field required.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in digital marketing including paid social, and search engine marketing (PPC and display) required.
- Experience owning and driving social and digital campaigns required.
- Experience with Facebook Business and Ads Manager, Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Search Console required.
- Experience in eCommerce, Retail or Marketing Agency preferred.
- Experience with Content Management Systems (preferably Wordpress), on-site SEO, content marketing, and email platforms like Mail Chimp and Constant Contact, strongly preferred.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress and Shopify preferred.
- Excellent project management and organization skills
- Must be able to commute to our corporate office in Mendota Heights, MN.
