Jordan Brand is looking for a Director of NBHD + SNKRS to bring best in class experiences to life for the consumer across SNKRS and our wholesale NBHD sneaker partners. As a part of the Jordan Brand Consumer Direct Marketing team, your mission will be focused on building and driving the NBHD + SNKRS Marketing strategy while creating O2O Member experiences centered around growing the culture of basketball!

With a passion for sneakers, a deep connection to basketball culture, and strong knowledge of consumer trends, you’ll creatively craft ways to better serve, engage and retain our consumer on a daily basis. In partnership with key cross functional partners, including Influencer Marketing and Brand Marketing, you’ll look to deliver engaging experiences around our most coveted product. A key partner to the geography teams around the globe, your mission will be to drive efficiency, consistency, and effectiveness across the organization, providing teams with the tools and information needed to do their best work!

This role requires a strategic consumer centric approach demonstrated through innovative digital thinking and expertise to drive key decisions that move the platform and brand forward. We’re looking for a demonstrated digital marketing leader who is creative and collaborative. A leader of inspiration, uniting team & geographies around the Jordan Brand vision & NBHD + SNKRS channel strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership: Lead through influence and collaboration, building strong relationships with the ability to interact with all levels of leadership
  • Strategy: Responsible for contributing to and driving the NBHD + SNKRS Marketing strategy for Jordan Brand
  • Innovation: Provide strategic thought-leadership, identifying new, innovative ways to launch sneakers and engage the NBHD + SNKRS community
  • Expertise: Subject matter specialist of the SNKRS platform and deep knowledge of the digital capabilities, understanding how to maximize the channel to elevate the consumer experience
  • Insights: Deliver insights derived from an understanding of consumers needs and data to better serve our members. Drive learning agenda to test and learn about consumer preferences on our platforms
  • Pilots: Partner with cross functional teams to pilot experiences, testing new and innovative ways to solve for common consumer and geo needs
  • Retail: Partner with Retail Marketing team to co-develop O2O experience frameworks for retail concepts
  • Partnership: Navigate Nike and Jordan Matrix to ensure alignment and partnership across the organization
  • Team: Motivate, mentor, and develop the team
  • Subject matter specialist of the NBHD and the sneaker community
  • Minimum of 8 years of directly relevant digital marketing experience for an e-commerce company, preferably in retail
  • Passionate about Jordan Brand and sneaker culture
  • Experience working with marketing analytics and how to derive meaningful insights
  • Understanding of digital landscape, user experience and our digital platforms
  • Ability to masterfully juggle the details and the big picture
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including meeting facilitation and making persuasive presentations to senior leadership
  • Outstanding leadership and coaching skills to lead functional teams and large cross-functional projects
  • Experience of working cross-functionally
  • Ability to understand challenges or underlying opportunities, share ideas, and develop effective responses or elevate to higher management
  • Adapts quickly to move at the pace of consumer and work in a constantly evolving environment, making judgment calls and shifts as needed
  • Natural digital curiosity with in-depth awareness and passion for learning the marketplace, consumer trends, evolving retail landscape and industry best practices.
