THE ROLE
We’re looking for a motivated Coordinator to join the Luxury US Influencer Marketing/Public Relations team. In this role you will report to our Manager Influencer Marketing, supporting the full US Influencer Marketing team (1 Assistant Manager, 1 Manager, 1 Senior Manager,1 Director and a Senior Director) in the development and execution of US press and influencer strategies for the luxury fragrance and cosmetics brands to maximize press coverage, social content and positive consumer engagement (fragrance/makeup brands: Gucci Beauty, Hugo Boss, Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs, Chloé, Tiffany & Co, Burberry Beauty, Alexander McQueen, Lacoste, ESCADA, Bottega Veneta, Miu Miu, Balenciaga and Davidoff). The position requires strong administrative and communications skills, precise attention to detail, creativity, an aptitude for multi-tasking and a keen interest in media and brand communications. The ideal candidate is an avid social media consumer, who is in tune with digital trends and the influencers setting those trends. The position calls for a team-player and consummate professional with a positive attitude who will represent the department and brands in a positive light and serve as department ambassador internally communicating effectively on behalf of the team/brands.
Your key areas of responsibility will be the following:
- PR Initiative Management and Execution
- Manage a multitude of assignments at once and work with Coordinator and Assistant Manager to prioritize accordingly
- Manage product send outs and product mailings, including beauty award submissions and influencer deliveries
- Maintain an up-to-date media and influencer contact list
- Liaise with cross functional teams regularly for all product launch updates
- PR Results Reporting, Analysis & Recommendations
- Proactively monitor and record PR results on a monthly basis utilizing Zinio, Burrelles and DMR (and supplement with Google searches when needed)
- Update pending, confirmed and published placement trackers on an ongoing basis
- Manage US press coverage reports monthly with detailed analysis (via DMR and Tagger)
- Recap and help analyze press events, influencer activations, brand events and initiatives
- Influencer Reporting, Analysis & Recommendations
- Maintain influencer campaigns daily on Tribe and Tagger
- Recap influencer activity on a weekly and monthly basis
- Business Processes & Forecasting
- Regularly forecast and order product, press materials and other assets in a timely manner via SAP/Ariba and Local Influencer Marketing Teams
- Oversee product closet inventory
- Manage relationship and timely payment of vendors via the creation of Purchase Orders
Key Requirements
- 4-year Undergraduate Degree in Communications or Related Field
- 1+ years of Public Relations and/or related experience
- Interest in the Beauty, Public Relations and Influencer Marketing industries
- Position is currently remote, but candidate should have the ability to commute to NYC office
