Influencer Supervisor, NU
The Influencer Supervisor is a role for someone who has a passion for influencer marketing & social media, but is also looking to expand their skillset into broader areas of the media space such as partnerships and planning.
They are experts in helping brands show up in a relevant, authentic, and engaging way. This role requires someone with at least three years of experience in developing influencer marketing programs and additional varied media experiences are a plus.
This person is fluent in social platforms (FB, IG, TW, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, Twitch etc.) and stays up to date on the nuances of each platform and the latest cultural trends.
We are looking for smart, curious, self-starters who can bring influencer marketing expertise to a growing team and think both strategically and creatively.
Prior experience working on automotive brands is a plus but hardly a mandatory. The ability to work cross-functionally on a heavily matrixed team is a must.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
You will lead the day to day on influencer planning, contracting & creation. You’ll have strategic and creative oversight as well as direct client conversations throughout the process.
You’ll also be a key member of the larger media team, participating in the campaign media planning as well as helping to develop our many brand and media partnerships.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Lead influencer management
- Continually aligning influencer efforts with the larger influencer strategy as well as periodically reviewing the strategy and making adjustments to better align with the brand’s GTM plan.
Monitoring relevant cultural & industry trends to inform opportunities and recommendations Researching, identifying, and recommending social media influencers for campaigns and social content series Conducting outreach and establishing long-term relationships with social media influencers to negotiate pricing, terms of contract, and other project-specific requirements Working with the various Nissan United teams to coordinate logistics around influencer effortsReviewing influencer assets (videos, images, and other media) to ensure complete accuracy and fulfillment of influencer contractual obligations Developing influencer campaign wrap-up reports
- Key contributor to the brand partnerships team
- Lead various brand & media partnerships, coordinating efforts between the partner, creative needs, activation team, required media support, brand planning and the clients.
Assist in the development of the overarching partnership strategy as well as individual strategies for how to approach each partnershipAssist in the development of appropriate measurement plans for each brand partnership
- Key contributor to the media planning team
- Play a key role in developing media strategies for various brand and model campaignsContinually align your brand and model campaigns to the larger strategic media Work in conjunction with Media Operations team to ensure that all budgets for influencer campaigns are managed and accounted forBring forward innovative media ideas, including some utilizing influencers, to create unique media moments that can enhance campaigns
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in influencer marketing at an advertising agency or in-house marketing team
- Strong client management skills
- Adept in using social media management and influencer management tools, such as Sprout, FB Business Manager, Sprinklr, CreatorIQ, etc.
- Exceptional communication skills : clearly communicate, present, and set expectations with managers, peers, agency partners, and clients
- Team player who’s adept at collaborating across functions (business, strategy, analytics, creative, production)
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and client expectations
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to deliver quick turnarounds, work efficiently, and stay on top of various project workstreams
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments and adapt to changing needs
- Proactive at identifying opportunities, anticipating challenges, problem solving
- Has a positive, curious, engaged, can-do attitude, and is passionate about influencer marketing, partnerships, storytelling, and building brands and communities through smart media strategies
