Intern Objectives

AbleTo is offering a unique internship opportunity for someone who has a strong interest in pursuing a career in Marketing. You will be an active member of the team and will be responsible for a variety of projects designed to be completed and delivered by the end of the internship. These projects are intended to provide you with strategic and executional marketing experience, as well as exposure leading and orchestrating initiatives across many functions of the organization.

Primary Responsibilities

The mental health provider space has grown significantly, and we would like your help to understand where AbleTo sits relative to our key competitors, and identify ways we can differentiate our brand. To support this effort, your key responsibilities include:

  • Conduct a comprehensive competitive analysis of leading mental health provider brands based on the following dimensions: product offering, value prop, brand positioning, pricing, marketing activation (digital, paid media, PR, influencer marketing, social, sponsorships etc), engagement metrics
  • Conduct an audit of AbleTo's product/marketing efforts against competitors and deliver a benchmarking analysis
  • Based on your findings, present a final report including your recommendations, opportunities, and external/future trends we should consider
  • Collaborate with a market research manager to ideate ways to engage AbleTo employees in making competitive intelligence part of our culture's DNA
  • Craft a comprehensive behavioral health solution consumer-facing message that health plans and employers will use to feature AbleTo and its role among a suite of available behavioral health benefits
  • Work with the marketing team to develop and execute brand and business-to-business marketing strategies across health plan lines of business including commercial, Medicare and Medicaid for all AbleTo products

Experience

Position Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in business, BA or BS degree in progress
  • Strong interest or exposure to Marketing preferred either through coursework or internships
  • Detail oriented and results driven, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines within specified time constraints
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively develop relationships
  • Strong analytical skills and basic business acumen
