Veritas’ Worldwide Field Operations (WFO) propels company growth by driving all aspects of new business and channel sales and includes global sales operations and global sales enablement for all new business and renewal sales.

The Senior Manager, Public Relations, will execute integrated media relations strategies and campaigns to promote the Veritas brand. They will develop platforms to position executives as thought leaders on newsworthy and important topics, and establish them as go-to resources for media outlets. This critical member of the team will focus predominantly on media relations, creating powerful customer stories, launching new products and managing the PR elements of integrated marketing campaigns.

Reporting directly to the head of global communications, the successful candidate will partner closely with their international PR colleagues as well as the analyst relations, social media and internal communications teams. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of leading innovative campaigns and initiatives that generate exceptional results with measurable impact, specifically delivering relevant press results for the United States. The candidate must excel at collaborating with senior business, marketing, sales and partner leaders.

The Senior Manager, Public Relations, will be critical in helping Veritas reclaim the industry’s awareness of its market leadership position.

We would prefer this role to be based in Santa Clara, CA. Veritas is committed to flexible working, which meant we were well prepared for shift in working patterns that came with the global pandemic. Our offices are slowly beginning to open again as regulations permit. While we will continue to work flexibly as an organization, the nature of this role will likely require the successful candidate to be onsite several times per week. It may also require occasional travel.
