goPuff is the go-to solution for immediate everyday needs, fulfilling customer orders of cleaning and home products to over-the-counter medications to food and drinks, and in some markets, alcohol - in just minutes.

This is the best job ever. In this role, you will design and execute Gopuff’s local marketing strategy in the city you love. You’re running point on in-market, offline customer engagement, including events, partnerships, influencer outreach, and other wild and crazy activation programs you dream up. You will attract & engage with new & existing consumers in order to make everyone in your city a superfan of Gopuff. Your day-to-day efforts will support aggressive expansion efforts at a rapidly growing start-up. This is just the beginning, and we’d love for you to be along for the ride.


Responsibilities

  • Get everyone in your city to know what Gopuff is, get them using the product, and make sure they love it!
  • Develop an overarching regional marketing strategy to drive increased brand awareness; programs should include effective management of brand ambassadors, events, partnerships, social media, and other innovative forms of generating buzz about our brand
  • Create well-written, creative, and effective campaigns across all media platforms, including social media platforms, that connect us with our target customers
  • Build an experiential marketing playbook that leverages existing in-market brands and influencers to drive loyalty and awareness and can be replicated across our markets
  • Research, coordinate and secure influencer relationships to further promote our brand
  • Run campaigns end-to-end: the ability to strategize GTM initiatives, execute, and post-campaign to gather analytics and develop reporting on campaign effectiveness that will be presented to the overall team
  • Operate super cross-functionally: you’ll be working across product, operations, sales, management, and many other functions of the business. You’ll provide insights that will influence our product roadmap and operational strategy, and ultimately help our company succeed


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing; some high-growth operations or startup experience is strongly preferred
  • Strong written communications! Love to write and have been told you’re good at it
  • Speed, resourcefulness, and go-getter attitude
  • Proficient in Excel; experience with numbers as it relates to costs of acquiring users, lifetime value, and other pertinent marketing metrics
  • Naturally entrepreneurial, with a high sense of responsibility and initiative - Enthusiastic, energetic, and positive attitude
  • The ability to connect deeply and empathize with multiple types of people, from a software engineer to a barista
  • Comfortable addressing challenges with ambiguous or incomplete information
  • Strong organizational skills and extreme attention to detail
  • You have a customer-centric mindset
  • A desire to build something awesome and you love local brands and coffee!!
