Marketing Associate
Beachly is the leading subscription retailer of beach apparel, accessories and lifestyle products. Our team is comprised of experienced entrepreneurs, subscription commerce experts, apparel specialists and beach lovers dedicated to building a successful, impactful business in a fun and progressive environment. We’re seeking a Marketing Associate to join our team and support a myriad digital initiatives. This hire will manage established marketing programs, support core marketing functions and gain a wide breadth of experience working closely with our in-house marketing team and various external partners.
What You'll Do for Us
- Work with leadership on digital strategy and execution of our relationship marketing initiatives, including but not limited to affiliate marketing and loyalty programs.
- Assist in developing attainable goals and KPIs related to your role and future growth
- Report on performance within your areas of responsibility
- Produce graphic designs for use in social media advertisements
- Work with the Marketing team to come up with content ideas for blogs, videos and photos
- Develop and create content (imagery and copy) for blog posts on our site
- Assist in sourcing imagery to promote the brand on social media
- Manage a weekly email newsletter program to our membership
- Work with the Content Marketing Manager to assist with Influencer campaigns, email content and develop strategy for emerging new channels
Affiliate Management Responsibilities
- Manage outreach to future partners to continue the growth of the size of this audience
- Frequent communications with current affiliates
- Manage the execution of various promotional campaigns in channel
- Approval/disapproval of affiliate commissions across Tune and Awin
Loyalty Program
- Administration of loyalty platform
- Responsible for encouraging and marketing enrollment in our loyalty program
- Ensure the loyalty program is incentivizing increases in lifetime value through reduced churn rates
Community Management
- Manage our Facebook Group Pages
- Respond to comments on social media to foster community, and route inquiries to customer service as appropriate
- Identify and collect user-generated content to be used for marketing purposes
- Execute brand giveaways on social media
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in digital marketing
- Experience at marketing ecommerce products, subscription model experience a plus
- Familiarity with Shopify and Google Analytics
- Understanding of affiliate marketing
- Ability to write clear, concise and effective consumer-facing copy
- Experience with graphic design tools: Photoshop, Canva or similar
- Understanding of email marketing platforms, Klaviyo especially a plus
- Driven self-starter who can take ownership of existing programs and meet KPIs
- Ability to commute to our office in Oceanside, CA 60% of the time
